The site of teen center is located at Temescal area in Oakland. The program is a combination of art center and sport center, including art studio, gallery , library, gym and sports hall etc. The proposal is to create a roof top green space for teenagers' outdoor activity. In order to achieve this, most of the space is underground. Different types of skylight are adopted to bring light as much as possible into the underground space. In this project, practical issues are also concerned, such as structure, material, mechanical system etc.
